Medieval copper alloy belt mount in the form of a stylised scallop shell with a single separate rivet. The reverse is slightly hollow. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 1083, but with fewer radial filed grooves (six rather than twelve). Height 13mm. Width 18.5mm. Thickness 3mm. length of rivet 5.8mm. c.1400 - c.1450.
