Medieval copper alloy two-part strap-end, tongue-shaped sheet plates, copper alloy rivet in damaged knop at terminal and through attachment-end, gap contains remains of cloth strap. The upper end of the face of the front plate is decorated with an engraved rocker-arm saltire. Width 9mm. Length 38.5mm. 14th century.
