An incomplete copper alloy rowel spur of post-medieval date. The spur consists of a circular sectioned neck which splits to form the rowel box with perforations with which to secure the rowel. The neck extends and forks to form curved arms with a D-shaped section, one of which terminates in a worn break. The other arm terminates in a figure-of-eight loop.
The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is worn. The spur is 62.6mm long, 15.6mm wide, 3.3mm thick and weighs 33.6g.
