A cast copper alloy leg from a metal cooking vessel such as a cauldron or skillet. It has a plano-convex cross section with the flat side at the front. The front of the leg is decorated with a central longitudinal rib.The foot has a flat underside which shows signs of wear and sooting. It would have been one of three on a complete vessel.
