Incomplete copper alloy mount, sub-triangular with the stump of a broken continuation in the one corner, with two round tapering attachment holes and a larger openwork aperture. All three sides carry notched mouldings and the reverse is flat. No parallel noted but a late 11th to 12th-century date is likely. 21.7 x 19.6 x 4.3mm.
