Incomplete front part of a medieval gilt trefoil copper alloy sheet buckle plate with three rivet holes, broken before the fold across a pin slot. There is a small projection on the more intact side near the break. Engraved decoration consists of a transverse line behind the pin slot, and two lines from the latter curving around two rivet holes to the sides. Cf. Whitehead 2003, no. 48. Extant length 32mm. Width 29mm. 13th - 14th century.
