Fragment of an Early Saxon copper alloy Cruciform brooch in exceptionally abraded condition, part of the footplate, both ends broken, one across the half-round moulding, the other beneath the eyes of the animal-head terminal. Both edges are badly scuffed. The reverse is hollow. 22.2 x 11.5mm. c.480 - c.530.
