Incomplete medieval gilt copper alloy mount in very abraded condition with the remains of two iron rivets, probably circular but with all of the edge missing. There is a central hollow-backed boss and parts of two probably round apertures. Most details of the decoration, which includes radial grooves and other probably encircling grooves, are obscured. Extant diameter 21mm. 12th - 13th century.
