A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy spoon (c. 1800-c. 1900).
The shallow bowl is sub-oval in plan and is more pointed at the handle end. It is soldered to the stem which is mainly circular in cross-section but is flattened at each end. Where the stem joins the bowl, the heal is pointed and the opposite end of the stem is folded rearwards to form a terminal.
This spoon has traces of a white metal coating on the stem only.
