Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Rearhook (sprung Dolphin) brooch, spring, pin and part of the catchplate missing. One wing has been bent forwards and the lower end of the bow backwards. The wings are decorated with a single oblique groove. The bow is triangular section with an offset down both sides. Wingspan 28mm. Length c.50mm. c.43 - c.65.
