A incomplete iron bridle bit of probable post-Medieval to modern date.

This snaffle bit comprises a circular-sectioned bar which has been bent into a loop at either end. Contained within the lower loop is a separately made iron ring.

Ringdiameter 64.47 mm Bar diameter 6.81 mm Bit length 112.75 mm.

Notes:

Found in a waterlogged environment.
