A fragment of ceramic vessel of Early Medieval date. The fragment is a body sherd from which the exterior surface is missing. The fabric is light grey (N7) with common, ill-sorted, angular calcite inclusions measuring c.0.5-2.0mm and common angular quartz grains measuring c.0.5-1.0mm.

The sherd is 28mm long, 20mm wide, 6.2mm thick and weighs 3.5g.
