Medieval copper alloy belt mount, very crude hollow-cast scallop-shaped with filed radiating grooved notches in lower edge and face, upper end of hinge transversely grooved, central perforation, rivet missing. Length 12mm. Width 16mm. See a similar mount from Westbury in Mills in Tattenhoe and Westbury (1995), fig.153, no.63. 15th century.
