Gold fade ring with a bezel formed in the shape of two clasped hands with a projecting heart above. The shoulders have been styled in the shape of lace cuffs, these have an undulating forward edge with a series of linear panels behind, flanking both sides of each cuff are two semi-circular knops. A double transverse separated the shoulder from the hoop. There are two crescents abutting the band with a pointed panel in front the rest of the hoop is plain. On the inside of the hoop is the inscription TOO BODIES ONE HART.

Lace cuffs as seen on this example where fashionable between the mid 16th century to late 17th century. The lettering style and spelling are found on pose rings of this period for instance 2003 T403 (DCMS, 2006, 129, 239) and 2004 T111 (DCMS, 2007, 136, 294).
