A complete lead or lead alloy local trade weight, of probable Post Medieval dating (17th to 18th Centuries AD).
The weight is sub circular in shape, and rectangular in cross section. Multiple concentric circles arranged around a central pellet decorate the upper surface. The reverse is plain and undecorated. Scratches are present, and may imitate lettering.
It is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina.
It has a diameter of 34.0 mm and is 8.3 mm thick. It weighs 68.6 grams (2.42 oz).
