Rectangular medieval gold mount engraved with two female saints, both with haloes. The figure on the right, an adult, presents a book? to the figure on the left, a child, perhaps representing the Virgin Mary as a child with her mother, Saint Anne. The figures are framed within a cusped arch, with fleurs-de-lis in the upper corners. The background is engraved and would originally have been enamelled, although no enamel now survives. The back is plain. There is a small split at the top.
The mount dates to the 15th century.
