A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman finger ring. The widest face of the ring, or bezel, is a raised square (5 x 5mm) split into 4 quarters by two feint etched lines. The bezel is raised 1mm from the frame of the ring. The frame of the ring is 7mm at its widest and tapers to 2.5mm wide at the break. Diagonal grooves are placed on the frame adjacent to each corner of the bezel, and two etched lines in an elongated V down each side of the frame complete the decoation.
