A flint horseshoe-shaped scraper of mid/dark-grey flint of Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (c. 2500 - 1500 BC). Made on a tertiary flake with no surviving cortex. At the proximal end is a small striking platform, partially removed by old damage. On the ventral face the bulb is shallow, and the ripples travel diagonally. The dorsal face has two main scars creating steep sides either side of a flat median ridge. Around half of the distal edge has been retouched, quite crudely and abruptly, creating a curved working edge, with finer retouch above. The surface of the scraper has some crazing, possibly from burning.
