A probably Neolithic end and side scraper, dating from c. 3500-2100 BC. The scraper is sub-oval or 'thumb-shaped' in plan with a flat ventral face with some of the original bulb of percussion intact and shallow conchoidal ripples. Damage or purposeful removal of part of the bulb is visible in a shallow circular area. The platform of percussion is covered in a milky white-grey cortex. From the dorsal face, the left mesial edge does not seem to be retouched at all, or perhaps only very finely from the ventral face in order to blunt the surface for holding. Semi-abrupt retouch is visible on the distal and right mesial edges from the dorsal face in a slightly scalar fashion, which is more invasive on the distal edge than the mesial edge. The flint is of a generally even dark grey-brown colour, with one major inclusion of chert visible near to the right mesial edge from the dorsal face and the left mesial edge from the ventral. The scraper measures 43.7 mm long, 35.5 mm wide, 8.6 mm thick and weighs 15.8 grams.
