A post medieval copper alloy finger ring dating to 16th-17th century. The object is formed of a single strip of copper alloy that has been bent to form a ring with the ends touching. Over the gap where the ends meet is a bezel consisting of a rectangular strip of the same metal with triangular tabs at each end. The central rectangular strip has been separated into three square sections by moulded lines. There are three moulded pellets in each of the tabs with the squares containing a pellet in each corner. There is a beaded line separating the rectangular section from the triangular tabs. The object has been discoloured now being a mid brown collour, with white pattination across the surface. The bezel is slightly damaged.
