An incomplete cast copper-alloy strap clasp of Medieval date. It has a flat, rectangular frame, missing the separately cast outer edge and roller due to old breaks. Hinging around the bar end of the frame is a separate sheet copper-alloy plate that is rectanglar in form with rectangular frame recesses and single central rivet hole at the attachment end. The entire object measures 14.58mm in width, 30.00mm in length, 3.82mm in thickness and 1.65g in weight. It is of Medieval date, c.14th century AD.
