Cast copper alloy attachment device for heraldic pendant dating from the medieval period, that is c. AD1200-1500. IT was made from a folded over sheet of metal with a star-shaped terminal with a central hole for the rivet. The folded-over bit still holds the horizontal axis bar from which the pendant was suspended. The suspension loop of the pendant survives, but the pendant itself is missing.
