Fragment of Early Saxon openwork disc brooch, less than one quarter extant, with a single pin lug containing traces of the iron pin/spring on the reverse. Enough remains to indicate that the cut-out pattern was that of a swastika (Cf. Macgregor and Bolick 2003, 69). Diameter 47mm. 6th century.
