2 fragments of 2 Late Saxon copper alloy cheek pieces of Williams' (2007, 2-3, fig. 3e) Type 2, both comprise the same surviving part: a projection with a rounded lobe terminal, a moulded swelling on one face and part of a round aperture at the break. Surviving lengths of 39mm and 41mm. Widths of 19mm and 20mm. Maximum thicknesses 5mm and 8mm. 11th century.
