A fragment of a cast lead alloy decorated object of uncertain date and association. The fragment consists of a slightly curved piece of lead alloy, fashioned into three connected openwork triangles, which are all decorated on the outer face with large raised pellets. The smallest triangle is not openwork, but is instead filled with an even larger raised pellet. All angle of the triangles seem to be broken, presumably from a larger object. The underside is smooth and undecorated with a slight curve, suggesting that the larger original object may have fit into another object still. It is likely that this object dates to between the Roman to Medieval periods and the area where the object was found has yielded a high quantity of Roman finds.
