Copper alloy buckle plate. Rectangular buckle plate, the back narrower than the front, secured by a centrally placed row of three small domed rivets of length 4.3mm and head diameter 2.6mm, burred behind. A sheet metal pin passes through a slot at the fold in the plate, which is stepped where it clasped the buckle frame (lost). Suggested date: Medieval, 1250-1400.
