Fragment of a medieval copper alloy composite tongue-shaped strap-end, part of one sheet plate only, the inside edge missing, with a single rivet hole near the straight attachment edge and traces of solder on the reverse. The latter indicate that there was a forked spacer. Extant length 21.5mm. Width 14mm. 14th century.
