A flint thumbnail scraper or flake on tertiary flake, dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age. It is oval, abruptly flaked and has a striking platform at one end. Mid-grey coloured flint with slight chalky patina.

Part of an old collection from Castle Carlton; no closer location is known.
