Copper alloy possible vessel fragment. Cast flat-based object, possibly comprising a vessel foot and a waisted leg from which metal has spalled away. Sooted overall, which carries over one of the fracture surfaces, suggesting that this is from the leg of a vessel, and that it continued in use after it had begun to break up. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1400.
