An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy signet finger ring (c. 1400-c. 1600).
This finger-ring has an oval bezel and about 60% of the hoop is missing due to breaks.
In plan, the bezel is oval and has an incuse fleur-de-lis motif, transversely set. From the bezel, each shoulder, 'D'-shaped in cross-section, tapers in width to a break.
The finger-ring is drab reddish brown and green and has a green patina in places. The breaks are old.
Height: 13.63mm; width: 21.45mm; length of bezel: 16.60mm; width of bezel: 14.37mm; thickness of bezel at the centre: 1.96mm. Weight: 4.12g.
