Treasure reference no. 2013 T706: two fragments of folded sheet gold, found together and presumably once part of the same object. Fragment A is sub-rectangular and appears to have one original edge. Fragment B is also sub-rectangular and has been clearly folded at least four times. The longer edge is original, as appears to be the outer edge, indicating that this was once a flat, rectangular sheet.
The surface is difficult to see owing to the poor state of preservation, but it appears to have had some kind of pressed decoration. In some ways this item resembles Roman lamella.
