A copper alloy jews harp of post medieval date, c. 1500 to 1800.

The object is missing its iron prong. The object is lyre shaped in plan with a circular head and two arms projecting. The object is lozenge shaped in section which is fairly typical. There is a small groove on the circular head which would have held the prong.

There are several examples recorded on the PAS database, see IOW-31C436 and HAMP-62A903.
