Roman copper alloy disc brooch, 30mm in diameter. The brooch has part of the outer edge missing. 6mm from the edge it has a raised circle about 4mm wide, which has been silvered. Outside this in the outer border are four rectangles of blue enamel with a green substance infilling the rest of the border. The inner part also appears to have traces of blue enamel. No sign of a catchplate on the reverse. Similar to 637 in Hattatt p.364.
