A fragment of a Medieval to Post Medieval cast copper alloy double looped buckle dating from AD1350 - AD1720. The fragment comes from a D shaped loop of a double loop buckle. A fragment of the strap bar survives. It is recessed and narrowed with a circular cross section. There are traces of black lacquer on the surface of the buckle. The buckle measures 37.25mm in length, 19.95mm in width, 4.57mm in thickness and weighs 8.29g.
