Incomplete probably Middle to Late Bronze Age copper alloy chisel in worn and pitted condition, and slightly bent longitudinally. The gently flaring and blunt blade lies at the end of a round-sectioned shank. This swells to a convex break on which there are slight indications of an abrupt narrowing to a tang of uncertain cross-section. An odd object to which no good parallel has been noted. Extant length 64.5mm. Width of blade 14.5mm. Weight 18.27g. c.1600 - c.701 BC.
