An incomplete copper alloy finger ring. The ring has a wide band that is decorated with several lines of multiple, closely-spaced crescents. The band is about 3/4 complete and the inside of the band is plain. The finger ring bears similarities to some strip bracelets, however without the terminal ends it is not certain if this object has been formed from a cut-down bracelet, a practice identified with the late Roman and early-medieval periods (Swift 2012).
