Incomplete late Roman copper alloy amphora-shaped strap end in rather worn condition. Both the tip of the outside edge and almost all the attachment edge are missing. There is a ring-and-dot on the front face at the widest point. The attachment edge was probably looped, cf. Appels and Laycock 2007, 258, fig. SL13.33. Extent length 36mm. Width 14.3mm. Thickness 1mm. 4th century but perhaps in use during the earlier 5th.
