Post-medieval copper alloy flat-fronted and symmetrical harness mount with a pair of integral flattened oval cross-sectioned attachment spikes on the reverse (one incomplete). The simple but rarely encountered form is very similar to that of an example from Wreningham, Norfolk (HER 56989, NMS-67E904). 36.5 x 8.5mm. 17th century.
