A fragment of a Roman copper alloy finger ring, dating from the 1st to 3rd century AD. The fragment comprises of approximately 3/4 of the bezel, one shoulder and a short length of hoop. The bezel has a raised rectangular platform which is decorated with three rows of four uneven indentations. These appear too small and shallow to have contained enamel. The shoulder narrows from the bezel in to the hoop, however only a small fraction of this survives. The ring is rounded internally and is similar to Henig Type X.
