An incomplete copper alloy buckle plate of medieval date. The plate is flat and rectangular with traces of gilding remaining on the upper surface. An incised design is also present on the upper surface though the level of wear renders it indistinguishable.
The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The plate is 29.1mm long, 15.9mm wide, 0.9mm thick and weighs 1.2g.
