Lead shot. Cast ball, with a possible bite mark and flattened on one face, probably by impact. The mass, at a little under one ounce, would qualify this as for use with a firearm of military specification, either a heavy pistol, light musket or carbine. Patinated overall. A number of similar shot have been reported from the vicinity. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1800.
