A cast copper-alloy object, probably a window latch terminal. The latch appears to be in the shape of a long-beaked bird's head, with what could be incised detail for the beak and eye. However this is unclear due to wear on the object. There is also a moulded collar at the end of the object. The other side is plain and undecorated. The object has a dark purple patina with green patches. The latch is probably post medieval to modern.Similar to object HAMP-477952 in the database.
The object measures 46.54mm in length, by 30.32mm in width, is 4.29mm thick, and weighs 16.72g.
