A mid-20th century toy, or perhaps a brooch, formed possibly from a contemporary penny and modelled into the form of an aeroplane. The coin has been folded double and slots have been removed to form the wings and tailplane, before being folded out. The surfaces of the coin are covered in file marks. No pin is present.
