One body sherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Late Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1400).
The body sherd consists of a local miscellaneous (unsourced )jug type fabric, dating from the 11th to 15th Centuries AD. Local jug type fabrics have a frequent fine quartz temper, and a pale fabric. The exterior tends to have a light green glaze. This sherd probably came from a jug type vessel.
The sherd measures 5.98 MM thick and weighs 4.0 grams. It measures 21.03 MM in length and 25.38 MM wide.
