A cast copper-alloy buckle of Medieval date. It has an annular frame that shows signs of use wear in at least two places around its circumference. Hinging around the frame is a separately cast copper-alloy pin that is rectangular in form and section with oval loop, transverse moulded grip, and tapers to a triangular sectioned pointed tip. The entire object has a dark brown patina and measures 33.93mm in diameter, 3.96mm in thickness, 39.54mm in length and 4.43mm in width at pin, and 11.75g in weight.
This is a complete annular buckle frame similar to an example from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991: no. 36). It is of probable 14th-15th century AD date.
