A postmedieval silver hammered coin. The coin is a halfgroat of Elizabeth I (1558- 1603). Obervse depicts crowned bust left with two pellets behind left ear. The coin is sixth issue and was minted between 1582- 1584 ('A' mintmark). See Spink 2579, p256 (2011 edition). Awaiting image from finder.
