Silver coin. Voided short cross cut halfpenny, possibly of Henry III (1216-1272), possibly class 8a, issue of 1242-1247. Chipped and apparently underweight.

Obverse description: Facing bust with sceptre left, hair (left) of two curls and two pellets.

Obverse inscription: (--)EX hE(--); X resembles a curule form.

Reverse description: Voided short cross, quatrefoil in each angle

Reverse inscription: indistinct
