A probable knapped flint denticulate produced from a secondary flake. The dorsal surface has four slender vertical scars with an obliquely angled distal end, this end is covered with heavy patination. The ventral surface has a bulb of percussion, bulbar scars, and concentric ripples. One lateral edge has fine denticulates which have been re-touched from the dorsal surface. The flint is a dark orange colour. The knife measures 49.33mm long, 21.48mm wide and 5.4mm thick. It weighs 6.1g.
The denticulate probably dates to the later Mesolithic period, -7,000 - -4001, considering the size of the negative scars on the dorsal surface and the choice of using a secondary flake, and the denticulation along one lateral edge (Butler, C. 2005 Prehistoric Flintwork Tempus p. 110).
