Copper alloy cast cross, medieval to post medieval in date (c AD1200-1600). The object is circular in plan with a cross dividing four hollow triangular quarters within the circle frame. At one end there is a rectangular-shaped projection, probably for an attachment. The reverse side of the object is flat, but the upper face has thinner slightly chamfered edges. The object may be part of an ornament or was originally attached to a pendant or shaft.
