A Post Medieval German Thaler, issued in AD 1752. The Thaler may haven been silver plated copper alloy, as the copper-alloy colour is showing through in a few areas of the coin. The obverse depicts a horse galloping left, with ground and decoration below. The obverse legend reads: CAROLVS [D G] DVX ERVNS ET LV. The reverse lists the denomination etc. in five lines: VI / EINEN / THALER / L . M . / 1752. Sexfoils flank the upper line (VI) and the second to the last (L.M.).
